About Dr. Enriquez
Dr. Jesse Enriquez is the Associate Director of the California State University Young Males of Color Consortium (CSU YMOC), where he leads statewide efforts to address systemic barriers facing young men of color in higher education. He earned a Ph.D. in Education from the University of California, San Diego, where he was awarded the UC President’s Pre-Professoriate Fellowship. Dr. Enriquez’s research focuses on strengthening transfer pathways for students of color, particularly Latinx students, men of color, and student-parents. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at multiple CSU campuses, most recently at CSU Channel Islands, near his hometown of Oxnard, California.
